You Can Now Buy A Special Drying Coat For Your Dog

You can purchase a dryer for your dog to help keep them warm and dry after winter walks

Giving a dog a bath is often a painful experience all round. Not only because they clearly hate the whole experience and would rather be out chasing a squirrel somewhere, but also because when you finally lift them out to dry them off with a towel, they always look so bloody sad - shivering pathetically like a cold, nervous wreck.

Same applies when it comes to taking them for a chilly walk in the rain - you both know you have to do it, but that doesn't stop your four-legged pal looking seriously sorry for itself about the whole debacle.

But thankfully, you can now buy a special drying coat for your dog to help them dry off quickly, meaning there's an end to soggy paws running amok in your house.

Basically, you attach the Puff and Fluff coat to your hairdryer so you can dry off your good boy more easily, with larger sizes also available that include attachments for two hairdryers. I know, what a time to be alive.

Using this should reduce the anxiety some animals go through when the hair dryer is switched on and pointed at them - it also helps minimise the 'wet dog' smell that's usually pretty unavoidable when you're a pet owner.

The dryer helps to cut the amount of time it takes you to dry your dog.

It's essentially a rectangular piece of material that sees you place your dog's paws through the leg holes before bringing the sides together and fastening them with a hook and loop. Drawstrings around the head and tail are then fastened, and you can start to dry your dog.

The product comes in four sizes, meaning there'll be one to fit every dog - with extra small priced at £30.53, small at £34.35, medium at £38.18 and large at £53.46.

The website claims that any hair dryer can be attached and that short hair and/or small dogs may take around 10-20 minutes to dry, while larger and/or long hair dogs will take 20-30 minutes or longer.

The dryer helps remove the stress from drying your dog.

It's already a firm hit with customers - one Amazon reviewer wrote: "My 14lb Maltese/Yorkie dog loves it. We've only used it twice, but he's really taken to it. The first time we used it, he seemed unsure of it. But on the second time, as soon as he saw it laid out on the floor, he jumped on it and sat there, waiting to be fluffed!

"It takes less than 10 minutes to dry him, which is great because I never dried his hair in the past and it would take two towels to remove excess water from him, plus another hour for him to completely air dry."

LOOK HOW HAPPY HE LOOKS!

A second wrote: "Gave this as a Christmas gift to my friend who has two little Yorkies. They LOVED it. Both usually get really scared during the entire bath process and the hair dryer scares them.

"But with the Puff-n-Fluff they felt cosy and warm; one of them even lay down while she had it on. They were both dry within minutes! Great product worth buying!"

Do they make these for humans, too?!
