Dog-loving caffeine fiends are in for a real treat this summer as London hosts its first ever dachshund cafe. What a time to be alive, eh?
If you like your cappuccino with a side of sausage dog, then the pop-up Dachshund Café at The Happenstance in Paternoster Square in the capital is definitely worth a visit on 19 August.

From the team who introduced Pug Café into London, the new sausage-dog based event is aimed at both owners of dachshunds and those who just really love being around the four-legged tubes of happiness.
If you're lucky enough to own a dachshund and bring him or her along on the day, they'll be treated to a free 'pupuccino' and a bag of 'pupcorn'. Very bloody cute, I'm sure you'll agree. And, let's be honest here, who doesn't want a mate date with their dog?
On the day, pooches will be spoilt with a number of doggy treats on offer including 'pupcakes' and 'dognuts', which can be washed down with a refreshing glass of 'pawsecco', so it's also a good day out for those who love puns as much as they love pups.

And for the humans there's booze available, including cocktails, champers and a delicious food menu.
The London pop-up follows successful events in other parts of the country, including Manchester and Surrey, where over 150 dogs graced the café with their presence. That's a lot of good boys and good girls, guys.
Tickets cost £15 for non-dog owners and a tenner for pooch-parents; under-fives and all dachshunds go free. The ticket price covers a 70-minute slot, so you'll have plenty of time to make some new four-legged friends and, if you're arriving dog-less you'll be given a bag of treats to help you make new friends. Genius.
Booking opens on 28 July at 10am and will almost certainly sell out pretty sharpish, you can find out more by checking out the website here. There's also a Facebook group where you can get to know other sausage dog fans before the event.
