Graham Griffiths opened his barbershop a little more than three years ago in Melksham, Wiltshire. One of his first customers was Jack, who was soon going to be reaching his 100th birthday.

The 29-year-old asked Jack about his celebration plans, but was heartbroken when he heard his response. Graham tells LADbible: "He mentioned he had no family and his wife had sadly passed away, which is never nice to hear."

The barber didn't want Jack to celebrate his birthday by himself, so he embarked on a mission to get anyone he could to help wish the man a happy birthday.

The video has been liked by more than 2,000 people in less than 24 hours, with many applauding him for going out of his way for Jack.

One person says: "Oh, Griff, I cried. This is amazing. The little things in life mean the most."

Another adds: "Wonderful, brought tears to my eyes. What a wonderful young man you are. You obviously take after your lovely mum. Well done."

While user Richard hits the nail on the head with: "All the social media stuff aside, mate, this is a really good act of kindness. You should he proud. I'd say it restores some people's faith in youngsters."

Graham says: "I didn't think it would be right for him not to receive anything for this awesome milestone, so I popped on Facebook, [and asked] if anyone could make me a specific cake."

A woman named Ali Wilton baked and decorated this epic cake, showing Jack on his recently purchased mobility scooter.

But after Graham put his message out on Facebook, one person asked if Jack could send him a card. Graham adds: "I have a decent following on social media, so I popped [another] status up, along with one on the town's page, that anyone who wanted to could pop in a card for him."

Incredibly, the barber received nearly 100 cards, along with chocolates, ties, mints and other small gifts. Graham also threw in a £10 gift voucher for bakery Greggs, so he can have a free meal every day for a week. He had so much to give Jack that it was a two-man operation getting it all to the centenarian's house.

You can see the birthday boy was really touched by the community's support and how far everyone went to make him feel special on his awesome milestone.
