You probably don't need me to tell you this, but it's bloody warm out there today. After The Longest Winter ever and several repeat visits from The Beast From the East, the UK has finally been graced with 'beer garden weather'.
It's great to be sitting in the sunshine, drinking a cold beer, in this heat. Having to work in an office, in a full office-attire, isn't so great.
Call-centre worker Joey Barge knows the struggle, and he shared it with the world during last year's hot weather. So he went into work wearing a pair of smart, navy-blue shorts. No biggie, right?

Well, actually, it was a problem. Poor Joey got sent home.

He then realised that there might be a little loop-hole for him. If his female co-workers can put on dresses and skirts, then why couldn't he?

Looking good, Joey, LAD.

Although, it seems that even before he left for work, he had his reservations about whether his plan would work.

And he was right, because he did get sent home.
But, here's the important bit, his little act of defiance did manage to get the rules changed and his work place will now allow shorts for the workers:
Well done, Joey.
