People seemed happy that the chef was finally opening up to veganism

While Gordon Ramsay has built an empire around his cooking skills, he's branched out into mocking people's culinary creations armed with his wide-ranging vocabulary.

The Scottish born chef doesn't hold back when asked about a range of food-relate questions and he's made his opinion very clear on pizzas and vegans: pineapple should never be a part of the equation and he's allergic to non-meat-eaters.

But he's seemed to combine these two topics and created a vegan pizza - and posted a picture of it on Twitter.

He wrote on the social media site: "Going to give this #vegan thing a try...Yes guys you heard that right."

It appeared to be have a tomato base, topped with mushrooms, pine nuts and some green stuff that could be garnish or pesto or something else.

Many on social media questioned why there was no vegan cheese added to the pizza, with some even applauding him for giving the lifestyle a try, but the conversation quickly changed when Ramsay deleted the post.

It seems as though he's had a change of heart and has uploaded a different picture of his vegan pizza. Make up your mind Gordon.

The 51-year-old has mocked vegans in the past and angered a fair few of them with his remarks. On top of saying he's allergic to them, he was asked what he thought of someone's homecooked vegan lasagne and he replied: "I'm a member of PETA! People eating tasty animals...."

It attracted a string of upset comments and PETA even replied, saying: "Oh, dear, Gordon. We've heard that old line before. While you're spending time mocking the future #vegan we're betting you one day become, most chefs are exploring healthy, animal- & environment-friendly #PlantBased dishes."

Well, looks like their prediction was in some way correct.

He's made a few jibes at vegetarians in the past as well but at least he has a few recipes on his website.

While Ramsay is usually outspoken on a lot of things, it seems as though there are some topics he stays tight-lipped on.

Appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden he played 'Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts' with the UK TV presenter. Both participants had to sit at a table full of horrible food and choose whether to eat some of it or answer a very sensitive question.

They weren't messing about with the choice of gross snacks, either - bull's penis, chicken feet, clam juice, and pickled pig's feet juice were all on the menu.

Ramsay refused to answer which celebrity he didn't want back in his restaurants. This meant that he had to eat bull's penis in hot sauce.

Corden asked the potty-mouthed chef: "You are a successful, Michelin-starred chef, you are the greatest export that Britain has ever had, you are married, you have four beautiful children - when was the last time that you ever shit your pants?"

The 'treat' on offer for evading the question? Chicken's foot, dropped into some salmon ice cream and then covered in clam juice. Just answer the question, for God's sake! There are worse things to admit to on television but there aren't too many worse things to eat.

Ramsay ate it though, then promptly vomited it all back up. No, we're not surprised either.
