As the nation gears up for Anzac Day, pubs, clubs and businesses are getting ready for the hoards of people that will be heading out for their day off.
Some people might head to the Dawn Service, others will watch the Anzac Day parade in their city or town and many more will go somewhere to rub shoulders with current and retired servicemen and women to play some two-up.
But while there are plenty of establishments that will promote their event; one has come under fire for being disrespectful.
The Voodoo Lounge Northbridge, a strip club in in Western Australia, has uploaded a poster showing their Anzac Day will commemorate the sacrifice our diggers made for this country by dressing their dancers in military uniforms.
The poster says: "Join us as we celebrate the men and women who served, fought and died for us to enjoy the freedoms in this great country."
It's good news for any retired or current serviceman or woman, as they'll get in for free.
It's not hard to see why some people might be put off by the promotion. Sure, many people will sit there and say that getting drunk or watching sport isn't recognising our diggers, but this is certainly much further from the Anzac spirit than those criticisms.
Returned and Services League's WA chief executive John McCourt told Inside Cover: "You can dress anything up as much as you like but a strip joint is a still a strip joint.
"Using Anzac Day as a platform to sell booze and naked women is hardly the standard we would stand next to."
It's not the first time a pub, club or other type of establishment has been slammed for their Anzac Day promotion.
Funnily enough, two years ago, at a pub just up the road from The Voodoo Lounge Northbridge, their poster was called as disrespectful. The Brass Monkey Hotel held a 'GI Jane' event that was 'celebrating sisters that serve' on the night before Anzac Day.
