We all need this type of energy.

When you finish university it's a brilliant experience.

Finally, after six years of primary school, six years of high school and anywhere between two to six years of university, you're finally free of the education system (unless of course you're getting into teaching).

When you wear your gown and doff your cap, it signals the end of a long time hitting the books and studying for exams - so many people like to celebrate.

There are tons of ways to celebrate an achievement like this but one student from Sydney wanted to do it her way.

So she decided to ditch the regular flowers that everyone gets and instead got a bouquet of KFC popcorn chicken and wings.

Because why the hell not. Plus graduations can sometimes take ages so why not give yourself something to snack on.

Lucy Zhao, 22, and her boyfriend have been obsessed with KFC and would regularly eat the fast food a couple times a week.

So she took her love for chicken to the next level by getting a bunch of nuggets wrapped up to look like beautiful, delicious flowers.

"My boyfriend and I were talking about my Graduation Day that was coming up, and we were thinking about what we could do," she said.

"I said I wanted to do something special, but I didn't know what. Then he suggested we do a bouquet of KFC chicken.

"I thought it was hilarious and thought it was a really good idea.

"He bought all the chicken wings and popcorn chicken and popped them onto skewers and then took it to our usual florist who wrapped it all up.

"It looked great. On my Graduation Day, all these other students were looking at it and asking me what it was because it looked like chicken.

"I said, 'It is chicken!' and gave them some to eat. It was so funny, and they enjoyed it.

"We both love KFC. We always go there at night, and we've both put on lots of weight since we first met over two years ago.

"But we call it the fat of love. We both want to lose weight though, but KFC is our weakness."

Lucy isn't done with edible bouquets and is planning her next celebratory bunch to be made up of McDonald's chicken nuggets.

We think Lucy is certainly onto something here and we could be seeing a lot more of these in the future.
