This Bondi Cafe Has Won Most Instagrammable Cafe In The World

Australia is a pretty bloody gorgeous place on the planet. Whether it's the beautiful beaches, stunning forests, dry yet captivating outback or anything in between, the Land Down Under is a photographer's dream.

However, there is one place in Sydney that has recently taken the cake for being the most picturesque cafe in the world.

In 2019, that means that your Instagram can seriously benefit from a visit here.

Speedos Cafe in north Bondi has beaten other establishments all over the world to take the number one spot, according to Big 7 Travel, who compiled a list of 50 cafes based off 1.5 million replies.

Co-owner Suzy Dan told the Daily Telegraph: "You haven't been able to wipe the smile off our faces since we heard a few days ago.

"The regulars are as excited as we are, there's definitely a new buzz in the cafe now.

"It was very different back in the day when mum and dad had it. The menu was a lot more basic with bacon and eggs and full cream milk coffees the favourites.

"These days where everyone is a lot more concerned with how things look, we have to make the food aesthetically pleasing also."

This Aussie cafe, which is no stranger to some celebrity visits like Hugh Jackman, wasn't the only establishment from the Land Down Under to make the list.

South Melbourne's The Kettle Black edged into the top 50 because of it's beautiful menu and the fact that it's housed in a Colonial building.

Big 7 Travel explained the reason why Speedos took out the top prize in a statement.

"Bondi is one of the most iconic beaches in the world, so to have such an incredible place as Speedos just a short still away from the water is a real treat," the company said.

"Speedos serves some of the most beautiful food you'll ever see - all hues of the rainbow feature on the menu. An absolute explosion of colours and a scenic waterfront location make this the most Instagrammable cafe in the world, hands down."
