Victoria Is Getting A 12 Day Brownie Festival

It's being put on by the same people who run the annual Rocky Road Festival.

Chocolate was once believed to be a gift from the gods and revered by tribes people.

They weren't far off because chocolate is bloody delicious and can come in many forms for people to tuck into. While Australia certainly doesn't get close to the likes of Belgium or Switzerland when it comes to its choccy production, we do alright with the likes of Darrell Lea.

But Victoria will stick it's neck out to showcase the best brownies the country has to offer with a goddamn festival dedicated to the delicious treat.

That's right, but it's not going to just be on over a weekend or a day here and there.

It'll be on for 12 goddamn days.

The Yarra Valley's Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery will host the event, from June 14-25 and will be the perfect hunting ground for the best brownie.

"There'll be a line-up of different Brownie flavours created for you to enjoy in the café or take home in designer brownie gift boxes," their website reads.

"Be tempted by Brownie Bites and Brownie Bombs and a specially churned brownie ice cream, plus a host of different brownie inspired desserts to try.

"Purists might want to keep it classic and have their couverture brownie served with freshly made vanilla ice cream and an extra chocolate shot in the all day Café while enjoying the Chocolaterie's spectacular Yarra Valley vistas."

Who knew there were so many ways to eat a brownie.

"Lovers of the brownie will be swept away by the Ultimate Brownie Tasting Sessions where for $18 per person you can devour 10 different flavours, plus sample other brownie creations made by the European Chocolatiers while you sip on cocoa tea in a private tasting area and finishing with brownie ice cream," the website continues.

The Yarra Valley's Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery are the same people who put on the annual Rocky Road Festival - which just sounds like a bloody good time if you ask us.
