A Cadbury's Freddo is a rite of passage for many Brits, who have grown up enjoying the miniature chocolate treat on the reg - while also grumbling their way through each and every price hike, admittedly, but it'll always be a beloved sweet shop staple all the same.

We used to have Taz bars, too, which were similar but had the wonderful addition of sweet, gooey caramel. They eventually disappeared before being rebranded as caramel Freddos - not quite the same, but we're glad they came back to us.

However, there's another variety of the classic frog-shaped chocolate bar that you may not have known about, and that's the 'White Chocolate Dream Freddo'.

Kingdom of Sweets

That's right, a white chocolate Freddo. We'll just let that sink in for a moment.

According to Kingdom of Sweets, one of several online sites you can buy the white chocolate bars, they're originally an Aussie thing - which isn't entirely surprising, given that Freddos are actually originally an Australian creation, invented in 1930 but bought by Cadbury in 1967.

It's also bigger than a normal Freddo bar - at 35g it's about twice the size of the one you know and love.

You can also find the larger white chocolate bars on Amazon, though they're a little more expensive over there.

It will also come as great news to fans of the now-discontinued Dream bars, the company's flagship white chocolate treat that sadly got taken away from us.

Mind you, if it's a Dream bar that you're after, there are ways of tracking one of those down, too.

It's still available in Australia and New Zealand (where chocolate manufacturers CLEARLY know what they're doing), but getting your fix from the other side of the world wouldn't come particularly cheap.

Cadbury

Instead, for £1.80 you can snag yourself a 50g bar of Dream Chunky, or for £5.45 you can get a whopping 200g bar of the delicious, white chocolate treat from sanza.co.uk - a company specialising in food from Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Sure, £5.45 for a chocolate bar might sound pricey, but can you put a price on happiness? Well, yeah, you can... and it's £5.45 and it's in the form of a Cadbury Dream.

If that doesn't sway, just check out the description: "Creamy, delicious, smooth, melt in your mouth, real white chocolate."

What a time to be alive.
