By now you've probably seen the video of Prince Harry and Emily Henson at the Invictus Games, where the latter melted everyone's hearts as she stole the prince's popcorn.

The pair had a back and forth as she pinched the treats, and as Harry teased her, offering her some before eating it himself.

Daughter of David Henson, a former Royal Engineer, Emily has a truly remarkable backstory. The two-year-old previously helped her father, who lost both of his legs in 2011 when he stood on an IED in Afghanistan, reach Paralympic glory, reports the Daily Mail.

After being rushed to hospital following the blast paramedics took his sperm and froze it, so that it might possible that he could have children in the future.

At the time it wasn't something totally on his mind, but after he married his partner Hayley they chose to try for child with IVF treatment, and were successful, the Mail reports.

Speaking of Emily, David told the Telegraph: "She was with me the day I was injured but she wasn't born until four years later. As soon as she came along we realised what we had been missing: it was her."

Prior to conceiving their daughter, David told Hayley that she should leave him for someone who could make her happier, as he felt he couldn't, though she said no. The arrival of Emily made their bond even stronger.

She became his inspiration, as he had someone to 'love and care for and educate and guide'.

Because of this he decided to not let his horrific injury destroy his life, and so put on running blades, becoming a Paralympian, winning bronze in Rio in 2016.

Talking about Prince Harry, who is now a good friend of his, David said: "He has friends who were injured serving their country, so it's very personal for him.

"You enter into a new family that way.... he has that care and devotion to his extended family. His commitment and enthusiasm are very real."

Harry was sat next to the former Invictus Games competitor's wife during the recent games, which is what led to Emily going viral for her cheeky popcorn nabbing.

The little girl either didn't know Harry was a legit Prince or just didn't care because free popcorn was on offer, which is a perfectly reasonable excuse.

She continued her daring raid on Harry's popcorn for about a minute before the prince twigged that his snack was being pilfered.
