Some people just don't like seeing kids doing something good, do they? I mean, one woman called the police on an eight-year-old girl selling water last week.

What's next? We'll tell you - people called the cops on this 12-year-old LAD who was trying to build his lawn mowing business.

Little Reginald Fields owns Mr. Reggie Lawn Cutting Service and was happily cutting the lawn of Lucille Holt in Ohio. That was until the police turned up after neighbours complained that he had accidentally cut part of their grass.

Thankfully no action has been taken against Reggie.

Lucille filmed the police showing up on her doorstep and posted the video on Facebook, which has had more than 50,000 views and 500 reactions, according to Fox News. This has prompted people to get in touch with Reggie, and his business is now booming.

In the footage Lucille can be heard saying: "I guess I have a line where part of it is not my yard. They called the police to tell the police that the kids were cutting their grass.

"Who does that?" she asked. "I'm so angry right now, this is totally ridiculous."

Reggie, who mows lawns with his siblings and cousins, told WEWS News 5: "They said I was cutting their grass. I didn't know it."

He explained that it's difficult to tell where one person's lawn starts and another ends in the neighborhood where the incident occurred.

On the video, Lucille also said: "You called the police cause the kids [are] out here cutting the grass, and they cut the grass that wasn't part of our grass? I don't know what part is my grass and what part is your grass."

She continued: "They should be glad these kids aren't out there breaking their car windows out. They should be glad the kids [aren't] out here stealing their cars."

Lucille said: "People are inboxing me like, 'How can I get in touch with these children? Where are they at? I got property I want these kids to cut'."

Lucille set up a Go Fund Me page to encourage Reggie to continue to expand his business and the page has raised over $25,000 (£18,900).

Reggie told local media that he planned on saving the money he made to buy new equipment and grow his business. On Friday, Holt posted video of Reginald receiving a new lawn mower and leaf blower from members of the community.

You carry on mowing, Reggie.
