Calling all ginger men! Red Hot, the organisation started in 2013 by Thomas Knights, are on the lookout for models for their annual calendar of, well, ginger male models.

Founded in 2013 by photographer Thomas Knights, Red Hot has now produced 10 calendars, two art books and a global exhibition under its belt - all part of its mission to 'rebrand the ginger male stereotype', which is very much in keeping with its motto of 'Be proud of who you are'.

Not only that, but Red Hot also raises money for, and awareness of, some very good causes, including a global anti-bullying campaign. To date, it has raised over £60,000 for various charities, including The Diana Award and the Terrence Higgins Trust.

This year, the Red Hot calendar will be in aid of testicular cancer charity, It's In The Bag, and the outfit is looking for potential red-headed males willing to bare all - tastefully, of course - and adorn the pages of its twelve month spread. The organisation is also throwing its support to Lady Gaga's Born This Way charity, which the singer set up to spread kindness and offer both support and empowerment.

The actual photoshoot for those selected will take place at a central location in London on the weekend of August 22-24, and applications are open for those who are willing - and/or brave enough to take part.

This year's calendar for the charity is accompanied by a short film from music video director/filmmaker Kassandra Powell.

"In the film we wanted to convey a heavenly paradise," said Knights, "where the birds, bees and butterflies fill the air looking for that valuable sticky-sweet nectar.

"Morning dew drops form on the tip of open leaves, the air is thick with an intense aroma of jasmine. We play with masculine and feminine themes, fragile petals brush up against soft skin on hard muscle, innocence meets sexual desires, forbidden fantasies finally find the light... and only love exists."

Sounds pretty idyllic, especially these days. If you think you have what it takes to make the cut - and aren't afraid of stripping down to do so, you can get in touch with Red Hot via their Instagram account with a clear photo of yourself. You can also email [email protected]. Good luck!
