Let's think about the term 'grandma' for a second shall we. What's the first thing that springs to mind - grey haired, elderly, wrinkly, asks you to repeat yourself frequently?

Whatever you're thinking of, it's probably not blonde, youthful and glamorous.

Well, this granny is exactly that and she's stunned thousands of people with her age-defying looks.

Gina Stewart, who has more than 40,000 followers on Instagram, is 47 years old. There you have it.

Everything adds up and yet we're still questioning it.

Gina, from the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, is now one of the finalists in the running for the coveted Miss Maxim 2018, reports the Daily Mail.

The mum, who has four children, has been knocking out hundreds of girls half her age from the start of Maxim's Finest competition.

With her glowing complexion and incredibly youthful appearance - you would not believe her if she told you she was nearly 50.

Gina revealed she became a grandmother at the age of 46 and explained that she has a 10-month-old granddaughter.

She has two sons and two daughters, aged 27, 25, 23 and four.

The single mum opened up to the Daily Mail about the 'secrets' to her ageless appearance.

She said: "The only cosmetic procedure I had was my breasts 10 years ago. I don't use Botox or fillers as I believe in ageing gracefully.

"But seriously, there's no secret. I think everyone is beautiful. I'm not doing this for attention as I hate it. I'm just trying to make a difference to inspire women not to rip each other apart.

"Life is too short for judgement. Embrace your age and your curves, it never killed anyone."

As easy as that, eh?

The beauty said she hopes to win the competition so she could donate the AUD $10,000 (£5,400/$7,800) prize money to her friend who had a stroke recently. What a woman.

She said: "I'm only hoping to win to help my best friend of 30 years as she's had a stroke. If I win Maxim, I would be donating to her to help with her recovery.

"I'm just hoping to raise awareness for stroke victims."

On her Maxim profile, Gina said that her best features are her sense of humour, her caring nature and her laugh.

When asked if she could rule the world for a day what would she do, she replied: "Make it so that chocolate, peanut butter and Nutella would all have zero calories."

Wouldn't we all, Gina.
