This Bloke Explains What It’s Like To Date An Adult Film Star

To state the obvious: men and women in the adult film industry have sex on camera for money. While most people accept and understand that concept, it also means that these actors might have trouble navigating the dating scene.

I've heard plenty of blokes (and some women) who have said they'd love to date some of the female actors they see online. However, it'd be interesting to see how long these punters would put up with their partner having sex with another person or even a group of people every week.

But Mike Adkins insists he isn't fazed by his girlfriend, Allie Haze, starring in a whopping 350 adult movies.

The 32-year-old says: "It doesn't bother me that she's with other men as far as work. If it was something where she was just like, 'I'm going out Friday night, going to hook up with some people', that would 100 per cent bother me.

"There are times that she has been offered to do certain movies or whatever and I am just not very comfortable."

"I mean, yeah, it's a different job than being a receptionist or something, but at the end of the day you can't base a relationship around each other's career."

While he's pretty chilled about his girlfriend's job, he was a mixture of emotions when he had to tell people, especially his mum. To be fair, that would be a conversation that no one would ever want to have. Ever.

Mike says he hasn't seen any of Allie's movies but she is very open about what her daily schedule is like.

She says: "Definitely before I leave, Mike is always like, 'What are you working on today?' and I'm like, 'Oh, boy-girl, girl-girl'.

"When I come home from work, we don't necessarily talk about the day. But it depends too, like as a woman and as a spouse, I know what would turn him on."

The 30-year-old actor adds that most of her co-stars are, in fact, married and she's never dated anyone in the industry because, well, why would you shit where you eat.

"Mike is definitely more grounded," she says, "I love Mike so much, I can't even express how I feel about him. I am one crazy person. I am a lot to handle and I'm very grateful to have him by my side."
