Woman Has 15 Operations In A Year In Bid To Look Like Barbie Doll

A woman in Bulgaria has undergone a dramatic transformation after having 15 operations in a year in a bid to look like a Barbie doll.

Student Andrea Ivanova, from Burgas, said she has always wanted to look like a Barbie doll, ever since she was a young girl.

The 21-year-old - who now lives in Sofia - said she began having the operations last year. Now, her lips are exactly how she wants them to be.

According to Bulgaria Today, Andrea explained she had undergone 'maybe over 15 procedures' since 2018.

"I have not counted them, there may be more," she said. "At least once a month I went. I wanted to have exactly such lips as the pictures."

However, while Andrea may be happy with her appearance, she has received a lot of abuse online, with people comparing her to Daffy Duck and the Loch Ness Monster. But she has responded to her critics, insisting that it is her 'personal choice'.

She said: "Everyone has the right to live and look as they want, it is not necessary for everyone to fit to a standard imposed by other people.

"It is a personal choice and I have never been afraid to express it."

The student has also revealed that men have offered her money for sex, but she has refused.

According to Plovdiv News, she said: "Most of them offered me 10,000 leva (£4,544). It's a lot of money, but I refused. I do not do such things for payment."

Of course, Andrea is far from the only person to go through a hell of a lot of plastic surgery in an attempt to look like a Barbie doll.

Amanda Ahola from Finland claims to have spent almost £40,000 on cosmetic surgery, including 30 rounds of lip fillers, Botox, a series of face fillers to create round cheeks and three boob jobs - the last of which nearly killed her.

She now has 30J boobs, but during her most recent op, she suffered a seizure and had swelling on the brain, which triggered temporary memory loss and severe pain that went on for months.

Despite this, she has no plans to step away from the surgery table.

She said: "I have asked three doctors for more surgery but they have all denied me.

"Changing my body has given me a life I wouldn't have had without bigger boobs - my life would look totally different without them.

"I do really like myself as a person and I love my looks. Nothing is perfect, and I will keep changing things still."
