World's Largest Outdoor Bed Cinema Is Going On An Australian Tour

Buckle up ladies and gents, it's about to get comfortable.

Going to the cinema has been a pastime enjoyed by several generations. You nestle into your chair, forget about work, relationships, stress and anything else and let your mind slip into another world for more than an hour.

While loads of cinemas have been making their chairs a tad comfier over the years, it's hardly luxurious, right?

Well, let us introduce you to the Mov'in Bed Outdoor Cinema which debuted in Sydney in 2016 and was so popular it sold out in two weeks.

Mov'in Outdoor Cinema

Essentially, it's a cinema that is just a giant bedroom for yourself; and you share that bedroom with a load of other beds and potentially horny couples.

The Mov'in Bed Outdoor Cinema actually plays host to 150 Queen sized beds that have LED-lit bedside tables, comfy pillows and even a blanket if you're feeling cozy.

If you're single and ready to mingle like a pringle then tickets are just $40 but then jump up to $75 for couples - which isn't that much more than a standard movie ticket these days.

Because they were so popular in Sydney, they've decided to go on a mini Australian tour and visit Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

It's not clear exactly when this tour will take off but the company has said it will be releasing information soon.

The Mov'in Bed Outdoor Cinema is similar to what happened at a movie theatre in Switzerland that went above and beyond for comfort.

The 'VIP Bedroom' screen opened last week in Cinema Pathé in Spreitenbach, with tickets costing 49 francs (£37/AUD$65) including food and drink, not bad, eh?

For your cash, VIP ticket holders won't be expected to queue up for their own food and drink, either. Bizarrely, the cinema is also flogging slippers, which you can pick up to enhance your experience.

The cinema's CEO says he wants to offer 'something innovative'.

According to local news outlet 20 Minuten, the unique cinema will feature 11 beds, which come with grey and beige sheets and two pillows. The headboards are electronic, fancy, and there's even bedside tables to hold wine glasses, apparently.

And in case your filthy mind has immediately raced off with itself, the cinema's bosses are keen to stress that all sheets are changed after every screening.

Alongside the adult VIP cinema room there's also a kids' one which comes with massive bean bags, a ball pit and a slide that can be used instead of the stairs. How good does that sound?

If the prospects of beds isn't enough to tempt the Swiss cinema-goers in, Di Bacco has also announced that they're launching new food offerings including waffles and crepes - who fancies coming to Switzerland with me?
