Well, if Danny says it's so, it must be true, right?

The actor and a load of his castmates have been filmed singing Three Lions (It's Coming Home) outside the Queen Vic pub on the EastEnders set.

The video was shown on BBC Breakfast this morning, well before the 3pm kick-off.

The cast were all wrapped up in England flags in the clip and it's easy to imagine they've all been on the lash in the fictional pub already.

Michael McIntyre opened the clip, showing off his front door covered in photos of England captain Gareth Southgate and England flags.

Dyer's definitely not the first to jump on the 'It's Coming Home' wagon, which has been trending on Twitter pretty much constantly since Tuesday's amazing penalty shootout victory.

Dyer's kept pretty quiet on the subject of his daughter in the Love Island villa, although he has revealed he'll be making a visit to the villa later in the season. Meeting the parents is always scary but that's taking the piss a bit.

Although the show's filmed way in advance, EastEnders has gone to the effort to join in with the World Cup fever that's swept the nation.

They filmed a special clip after England's amazing victory over Colombia on Tuesday which they slotted into Wednesday's episode.

In the clip, Dyer's character Mick Carter says, "I mean, he was like a cat, the geezer. He was like, 'Get hold of that! See ya later on Colombia!'"

Callum 'Halfway' Highway replies: "When he missed that penalty though I thought, 'Oh no, here we go again!' But I can't believe it."

"Well start believing it," Dyer said. "We've got Jordan Pickford in between the sticks. Just give us the trophy! I'm tellin' ya what, son - it's coming home."

"But Sweden ain't no joke, Mick," Halfway insisted. "They're a strong unit."

"Flat pack mugs," the landlord joked. "We'll smash the granny out of them."
