This Christmas, Apple have come up with an extra special treat for users smart enough to find it.
Deep in the darkest recesses of the Apple Store app, there is a festive feature waiting to be discovered.
Simple go to the store, tap on the search bar and type in: "Let it snow" to uncover an Easter Egg in which snow falls from the top of the screen to the bottom.
Once the snow starts to fall, you can shake it like a snow globe by tilting your iPhone or iPad.
Reddit users found the app and posted it to the site for all to see. Needless to say, Reddit exploded with commenters and reviewers: "Thanks. Very cool and I like that it's persistent," said one Redditor, though others were sceptical about how the original poster came to discover the feature.
After all, it is a quite specific search item: "Cool, but what made you search "let it snow" in the Apple Store app? Are you secretly an Apple employee trying to spread Christmas spirit amongst us redditors?" asked one suspicious user.
Another backed them up, adding "So that's what the devs were working on the whole time," referring to some of the functionality issues that the new iPhone X has been experiencing.
Christmas has been a busy period for Apple, with iPhone X sales off the charts ahead of the holidays. The tech giant has had to introduce a new delivery system within the US to keep up with demand, now offering a 2 day delivery for their 64gb and 256gb models.
The iPhone X was released last month and caused a stir as it forewent a Home button in favour of a facial recognition software that has been blighted by lukewarm reviews.
Demand was such for the new phone that Apple struggled to get them onto shelves for people to buy, with supply chain issues frustrating consumers. The phone has been well received and caused a spike in the share price of Apple of 3% right after the launch, though they had been coy on exact numbers or statistics.
