There's a room to rent in London and it's in one of the most distinct properties I've ever seen.
The SpareRoom advert describes the property as 'a castle' and it comes complete with a roof terrace, battlements and spectacular London city views.
Apparently it's a 1854 church conversion in South London. The current residents are looking for a friendly, sociable and happy housemate to join the odd rooftop BBQ, pub quiz or relaxed Sunday afternoon pint (over Cards Against Humanity).

You can check out the SpareRoom advert here but it's located in Crystal Palace, which is described as having a 'safe 'villagey' vibe, great sense of community, and is full of quirky bars, independent shops and dozens of great pubs and reasonably-priced restaurants'.
Here are some stunning pictures of the place:

It will set you back £850 to live there, with a £1200 deposit, which may sound pretty expensive to anybody living outside the South East of England. But apparently it's pretty reasonable for London.
