Forty-nine-year-old Juliet Jarvis started her Halloween this year by tucking her 30-year-old son, Stewart Kinsey, into a duvet in her dressing room and giving him a pillow, after he'd woken her up at 4.30 in the morning. "Thanks," said Stewart, who'd painted half his face like a skeleton, and drifted off back to sleep.
Except it wasn't Stewart at all, but a random stranger, which was only discovered the next day by Ms Jarvis' husband, Cliff. "There's a naked bloke upstairs," he told his wife, "and it's not Stewart."
Somehow, it was 29-year-old Marc Campfield who had ended up inside the house after being kicked out of club in Farnham, Surrey, for falling asleep. He's not entirely sure how or why he ended up in the Jarvis household, especially as it's in Kingsley Common, four miles away from where he lives in Bordon.

Initially, Campfield tried to pretend he was a friend of Stewart's but realised he wasn't going to be able to get away with it. "I tried to bluff that I knew their son," he told the Sun. "The lady took a picture of me to send to him. I knew then I had been rumbled."
Still, everyone saw the funny side. Juliet brought the naked stranger a pair of her son's trousers and a t-shirt so he could make his way somewhat sheepishly downstairs.
"We said, 'Did you have a drink last night?'" Ms Jarvis explained to the paper. "He replied, 'I think so,' and we all started laughing. My husband ran him home. He was obviously house-trained as he knew not to walk mud through, his shoes were in the conservatory."

"I could not have stumbled into the home of two more lovely people," said Mr Campfield. "They were so understanding."
On her Facebook page, Ms Jarvis wrote about the event with good humour: "I thought it was odd that Stew's car wasn't outside and a bit strange that he would come round in the early hours for a kip in my walk-in. But he looked like my son enough to pass a cursory and Stew changes his face and hair a lot.

"I thought his hand looked mucky, but figured it could be that his car broke, and just thought, 'Ah well, Stewart does funny stuff...he can explain what he is up to in the morning.'"
While the set-up had all the makings of a Hollywood slasher movie, it all worked out in the end. But you can bet Ms Jarvis will take a second look text time someone stumbles into her dressing room in the middle of night.
