Good News Everybody: Tesco Is Doing Nando's Houmous + Peri-Peri

LADs, your Friday is about to get even better, because the cheekiest of all chicken restaurants has got a treat for you.

Having already spoiled us by making the full range of hot sauces available in supermarkets, Nando's has only gone and started stocking its Houmous + Peri-Peri drizzle in Tesco. All we need now is an unlimited refill station in our kitchens and we're set.

How good does this look?

Even better news: this delightful little tub of joy will usually set you back £2 ($2.63 - still a bargain) but, if you're quick, it's on offer at the moment for £1.50 ($1.97). Race you to Tesco, then?

If you've never tried it, because you've always been tempted by the more chicken-based starters, then I'll let Nando's set the scene for you: "Drizzle smoky Peri-Peri oil over our creamy houmous and dip, dunk, spread or just spoon it over warm pitta, fresh bread, chips, potato wedges, cucumber - really anything. Kick your tastebuds up a notch."

Delightful. Never mind spooning over warm pitta - spoon it straight into my mouth. The houmous comes with a 20ml bottle of the signature Nando's Peri-Peri drizzle so you can mix it up to your liking. It's ideal to share, but let's face it, no one is going to do that. Ever.

Let's hope this is the start of a beautiful relationship between Nando's and Tesco, and that we eventually see more and more menu items on the shelves, because that would be fanfuckingtastic news for those of us who tend to just eat the same thing at our desk every day of the week.

I didn't think I'd ever be tempted to stray from my Boots meal deal (they're the best and if you disagree, you're wrong) but this is definitely going to sway me. Or maybe I'll get both...
