Guy Who Won £148 Million Lotto Evicts Best Mate Over £250

Seems a bit tight?!

Back in 2012, Adrian and Gillian Bayford made headlines when they won £148 million on Euromillions.

They probably imagined that the rest of their lives would be worry-free, but that absurd amount of money is bound to come with some problems.

Fast-forward four years, and Adrian has evicted his old best mate from her home on his estate over a £250 rent issue.

Basically, when the pair won the cash they gave their good friend, Kym Mills, and her daughter, Keera Mills, a home on their land and asked them for £500-a-month rent. However, they also provided disabled Kym with a cleaning job so that she could afford to live there.

Kym.

15 months later, Adrian and Gillian split up. However, Adrian agreed to keep up the agreement regaridng Kym's job and home as agreed.

Keera told the Mirror: "Mum even started working in the farm shop that Adrian and his new partner Sam set up.

"She had a little golf buggy Adrian lent her to get around in. She and Sam would spend time together and go for lunches.

"They were all incredibly close. We used to go round for barbecues.

"My uncle moved into another house on site and we even spent Christmas with Adrian and his family. We had a great time. It was like an extended family."

However, things got sour when Kym apparently began selling stuff of his on his behalf: "There were some buckets for horse feed and somebody asked if they could buy them.

"She told them she didn't know how much Sam wanted, but if they took them they could sort the money out later.

"Sam started accusing mum of giving stuff away. She tried to explain what had happened but she got hostile towards us."

Kym said: "I'm just hurt - they were my best friends. And at the end of the day they've got it all and I've lost everything. I wish none of this had ever happened.

"Life was so much simpler before. This money split my friends up and ruined the relationship we had. I've got stuck in the middle of it and it's not fair."

Adrian sent the pair a letter saying that he wanted to increase their rent to £750 a month.

At the time, Kym was earning £8 an hour as Adrian's cleaner.

Keera said: "He knows Mum can't afford £750 a month - he's the one paying her."

So there you have it. Adrian disputes the claims saying that he was subsidising the pairs' rent for years as it should have been £1,500 and he's 'not a charity'.

Fair enough.

But a little bit of advice, be careful what you wish for. Winning money on this kind of scale turns people against you.
