You got to work with what you've got...

Ant Smith did what very few blokes would admit to their mates; he has gone very public with the fact that he has a small penis. But the brave guy didn't reveal that personal bit of information after a few too many pints at the pub, he did it sober and on national TV.

He, along with two other men, appeared on ITV's This Morning to discuss micro penises, which is defined as being smaller than 7 centimetres erect, compared to the standard average of 12.5cm. Ant revealed to Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes that he was packing a pecker of nearly 9cm, so he wasn't classified in the category of 'micro'.

The 50-year-old had to demonstrate on a life-sized human cut-out how long his Johnson is.

But despite him revealing a very personal aspect about himself on national television, he wants to use his smaller than average manhood for good (not like that, get your head out of the gutter).

He's become the face of a blood-testing company, Thriva, with the caption: "There's nothing wrong with a little prick."

Ant has told the Metro: "This campaign with Thriva is the perfect way to spread the word about preventative health, good mental health and good physical health, what's on the inside of the body, not just the outside.

"While playful, it's a serious message, we will all be better off if we properly monitor what's happening inside our bodies that we perhaps can't see in the mirror."

Ant hasn't been shy about his penis, and became quite well known for it when he started performing a poem, titled 'Shorty' two years ago.

Ant says: "Growing up it was a considerable embarrassment to me. At about 3.5in it wasn't so small but seemed so much smaller than everyone else's.

"I was teased at school and it made me so self-conscious I didn't have sex until I was 21. I would get embarrassed if the condom slipped off as my penis was too small to keep it on. It isn't something you can openly discuss with your friends, even though so many men have a hang-up about it.

"Somehow the size of your penis has become linked to how much of a 'man' you are, which is nonsense."

He's even published a book called The Small Penis Bible which delves into everything about small and micro penises.

He's pretty courageous to keep spreading the word about a topic that most blokes would shy away from, and in turn, helps a lot of people who are just like him.
