Woman Are Sharing Hilarious Comparison Photos Of Themselves Vs Kate After Giving Birth

Yesterday dozens of members of the press - not to mention a bunch of really excited royal family fans - stood outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital keen to get the first glimpse of the new fifth-in-line to the throne.

Proud parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - or Will and Kate - stepped out holding their new tiny baby, just hours after she had given birth to the healthy baby boy. Adorable.

Dressed in a red dress with a white collar, nude-coloured heels and with her brown locks worn down, Kate looked exactly what you'd expect a princess to look like - but not the way you'd expect anyone to look after pushing out an actual human being ten hours earlier.

Naturally, people rushed to social media to gush about how fantastic Kate looked - and she really did.

Anyway, following the photos of a fresh and pristine looking Kate, a number of mums took to social media to share how they looked just hours after giving birth as a comparison - and they're amazing:

You all look great, ladies, don't sweat it. And as many have pointed out, it's a safe bet to assume that Kate looked absolutely shattered after popping out the new prince, too.

But, of course, Kate will have had a little help from a hairdresser, make-up artist and stylist to ensure that she looked camera-ready, which is probably the last thing I'd fancy after just going through childbirth.

Kate gave birth to a baby boy at 11am yesterday, weighing 8lbs 7oz. The good news was shared by Kensington Palace in a series of tweets.

Dad Will, for whom the 'make yourselves camera-presentable' process was presumably a little less gruelling, quickly popped out to go and pick up the other kids - George and Charlotte - to meet their new little brother.
