White Moose Cafe Rekindles Its Beef With Vegans After Banning Bloggers

Following the incident with blogger Elle Darby, White Moose owner Paul Stenson has now hit out against vegans - again.

A Dublin hotel that hit out bloggers and the Insta-famous has now also reignited their its with vegans, adding to the sass of its social media channels even more.

The White Moose Cafe recently fell out with lifestyle blogger Elle Darby, after she contacted the hotel to see if they would be interested in a 'possible collaboration', highlighting her 87,000 YouTube subscribers and 76,000 Instagram followers.

White Moose owner Paul Stenson responded publicly to Elle's offer to feature the hotel in her YouTube videos, Instagram stories and posts in return for free accommodation, saying it takes 'a lot of balls' to send an email like that, but 'not much self-respect and dignity'.

She basically got properly merked.

And the rinsing continues, with the White Moose posting a mocking photo on Twitter:

The containers, labelled 'Ashes of Vegans' and 'Tears of Bloggers', is not only another stab at the blogging industry - but also marks the rekindling of Stenson's contempt for vegans.

The White Moose originally wound up vegans a few years ago, when Stenson posted on Facebook saying: "Attention vegans. Please do not waltz into our cafe with no advance notice and look at us as if we have ten heads when you realise that there aren't 50,000 items on our menu that suit your idiosyncratic dietary requirements.

"Our chef will be more than happy to prepare a number of dishes for you, but a little heads up in advance of your visit would be appreciated. Fair is fair like."

He then barred all vegans, explaining: "Given the torrent of abuse and unjustified negative reviews we have been receiving from the vegan population over the past 24 hours, all vegans are now barred from our cafe. Any vegans attempting to enter the cafe will be shot dead at point blank range.

"While we wouldn't usually kill any of our customers, as you say yourselves 'meat is murder', so it's only fair game if we murder humans as well as animals. There is clearly no difference.

"We look forward to never welcoming you vegans to our cafe ever again.'

Needless to say, people weren't best pleased with the controversial posts, and Stenson was begrudgingly forced to say sorry - though not without signing the apology off with 'P.S. Fuck you'.

It clearly didn't scare him off too much, either, as after the incident with Darby, he also decided to bar all bloggers, before jokingly sending her an invoice for the exposure they'd given her to the tune of over €5,000,000 (£4,410,063/$6,112,100). Burn.
