When faced with a potential disastrous situation, what do the people of Britain do best?

The people of Wigan met a potential bomb threat in the most British way possible - by standing outside the pub watching and drinking pints.
Far from bowing down to the fear of terrorism, Wigan locals decided that they'd much rather roast themselves in the sun outside the pub and crack open a few tinnies.
Police in the northern town closed roads and evacuated several homes as the bomb squad were called to a house near the Cherry Gardens pub.
It came after officers stopped a man with a suspicious package, in connection with the Manchester Arena attack on Monday.

Greater Manchester Police said they found 'suspicious items' at the house, which lead them to raise the alarm.
