If there's anything you can't level at the US President Donald Trump, it's the accusation of keeping his mouth closed. Now an ad featuring his face has taken the internet by storm.
The ad, launched by the agency Scholz & Friends in 2016 for the German newspaper Der Tagesspiegel, used an image of a stack of newspapers with a cover photo of Trump, carefully laid out so it looks like he has a bloody massive mouth.
The ad, which last year won a gold Lion and two silver Lions at the Cannes Lions festival, the biggest industry event for advertising, has now taken on a life of its own, as people are cooking up their own hilarious versions.

The campaign only ran in print and on billboards but was shared widely by people on social media at the time. It was only made for the 2016 elections but has recently found a new wave of popularity.
Seeing Trump's face all stretched out is funny, to be sure, but it's also effective, given that Trump isn't exactly known for staying schtum.
Scholz & Friends' chief creative officer Matthias Spaetgens told Ad Week that people are now using the ad to make a political statement, even though that wasn't the agency's intention.
"It seems it helps to have a picture to express your anger and disappointments, especially when you have no other weapons," Spaetgens said.

This past week the image of Trump's mouth has had a particularly big comeback online, after a Reddit user posted it to the r/PhotoshopBattles sub-Reddit.

All the mock-ups Redditors have done of the ad are pretty hilarious and impressive, to be fair. For a mere newspaper ad, it looks like this image of Trump's got a long shelf life.
