Guy Hilariously Trolls Person Looking To Buy A Puppy On Craigslist

Guy Hilariously Trolls Person Looking To Buy A Puppy On Craigslist

The buyer will probably be a bit more aware next time

It's no secret that Craigslist can be a shady place where all types of things can be bought, sold, traded or given away for free. But for the majority of the people who use the classified advertisement site, it's a legitimate way to get items that you might not be able to find or afford in a regular retail store.

A person wanted to get a puppy for their two kids, so they posted an ad that read: "We are looking to add a new puppy into our family. I have two children and we are really hoping to find one ASAP no scams please, that seems to be all we keep getting."

Unfortunately for that person, one guy thought he'd have a bit of cheeky fun. He sent a message saying: "Saw your ad on craigslist. I have a puppy that I need to get rid of due to personal problems."

The unsuspecting buyer seemed interested and replied with, 'what kind', but they should have specified what they meant, because the troll sent back: "Just family problems. I feel like my relationship with my son is declining and he's been spending more time with the puppy than me lately. I try so hard to be the best dad I can be, but I just can't seem to connect with him on an emotional level.

"Sometimes I feel like he still hasn't forgiven me for divorcing his mom. I bought a puppy to fill the void of a missing wife but it's done nothing but distracted my son from bonding with me."

The buyer, understandably, would have probably felt a bit awkward having had all that private information unloaded on them so quickly. The fake salesman eventually reveals that he owns a German Shepherd, but when the Craigslist person asks for a picture, he's confronted with an image of the man's son dressed as Buzz Lightyear.

It follows with a caption, reading: "He just turned 5 and started kindergarten. This is him last Halloween. I would send you a more recent pic but I can't even get him to smile for me anymore."

But the best moment is reserved for the finale, when the troll says he would have to put a price on the puppy because he was 'left with nothing' in the divorce and he still misses his wife. Clearly the buyer hasn't learned about being specific and asks, 'how much'.

"So much. I still think about her nonstop every day," reads the reply. "She was my world. I don't even know where I went wrong. One minute everything was perfect and then boom she's gone. Didn't know it was possible to miss someone this much."

The buyer, who's fuming at this point, says: "Christ man I don't care about your wife. How much for the puppy?"

The conversation ends when the troll requests $500 (£370). But the buyer might have had the last laugh by saying: "Get a life loser. No wonder your wife left you."

Brutal.
