After finding out his son had been bullying people on the school bus, a father decided to punish the 10-year-old by making him run to school in the rain.
Bryan Thornhill filmed the punishment from his car as he drove alongside his son, posting the live footage to his Facebook profile.

In the video he said: "Hey everyone, welcome to 'You Better Listen to Your Dad 2018'. My son has finally got in trouble on the bus enough to where he was kicked off the bus for three days because he was being a little bully which I do not tolerate, can't stand.
"Therefore, he has to now run to school. We're right about one mile from the school so all week he's got the experience of running."
Thornhill continued to comment on the run throughout , saying: "The good news is, guys, he keeps up a pretty good mile pace - six miles an hour so far.
"Yesterday he was apparently a little rude for Michelle in the morning, so even though it's raining this morning he still gets to run."

He added: "I just wanted to show everybody and give you a good little laugh."
In the commentary Thornhill also explained that, since his son started running to school as punishment, his behaviour has been 'much better', saying that teachers have approved.
"This right here is just old-school, simple parenting," he said.

Thornhill also said that he felt it was a healthy way for a child to be punished, as it could be classed as exercise.
In later Facebook posts, he explained that the feedback he's had since the video went viral has been mixed, saying: "Ninety-eight percent of people love it and support. A few don't which is fine. Can't make everyone happy.
"I don't care about the attention for me though. I care about the fact the thousands of messages I am actually reading with parents struggling to find ways to help their kids make it in society. So many parents fight with children as I do. Wanting to make sure that the kids are proper adults with respect and accountability.

He continued: "So far I have given many new ideas to parents that they love. That truly has me inspired for our future, for our children.
"To see people like me facing the same battles but wanting to be proper parents. Society has allowed children to have free passes for everything. We have built a society with free reign that can't support their own children so therefore becoming dependent on assistance to survive."
