When you're having a romantic moment between the sheets it can be easy to feel like you're the only two - or more, or less, we're not here to judge - people in the world. Well - newsflash - you're not, and what's more, not everyone is as into hearing it as you are into doing it.
That goes double for you, flat 60, upstairs from me. I hear you up there, grunting away like a hungry pig at the same time every Sunday evening (this is not for comic effect, I genuinely hope this makes it past the subeditor and the guy living upstairs from me reads it).
Loud sex may be great and all that, but for people who've got to put up with the din - family members in particular - it can be more than a little uncomfortable.
This is something that a young couple in the US found out first-hand after a rowdy romping sesh in the family home elicited a religion-fuelled post-it note frenzy from the female participant's 11-year-old sister.
The woman had been at home 'doing the dirty', as she put it, with her boyfriend and after they had finished off, they decided to nip out for a little while.
On their return, the couple were shocked to find angry messages scrawled on post-it notes, covering their room.
One says: "Y'all need fuckin' Jesus. You're dirty goddamned sinners."
Another says "Gross sinners. Nasty."
The vast majority of the messages simply read: "SIN". Straight to the point, we like that.
The 11-year-old had even stuck one of her "SIN" message on a box of crackers, because what could be more shameful and sacrilegious than lightly salted whole-wheat snacks?
The sinful woman was pretty amused by the whole thing and so took to Twitter to share photos of her room, captioned: "My 11-year-old sister accidentally heard my bf and i uh... doing the dirty last night and then we went out and came back home to this."

She also made it clear to LADbible that her younger sister's intentions were mocking rather than malicious, telling us via Twitter: "She was just playing a prank back at me and is fine."
So there's something to chew on next time you're getting noisy. Just have a little think about who could be listening in.
