Fashion Nova Confuses People Again With This Matrix Outfit

We thought we'd seen it all

Once again, Fashion Nova has confused the world - this time with a strange, Matrix-esque outfit.

We were baffled enough by their crotchless chaps, or as some people termed them 'stripper trousers'. You remember? The ones that had the cut out bit that showed off your whole bum and crotch area. But the fast-fashion brand has gone and outdone itself again with the bizarre item of clothing.

If you are confident enough to wear this, I salute you.

On their website, the item is called the 'Buckle Up Mock Neck Romper'. It's going for a fairly pricey $49.99 (around £39) - given the amount of material you actually get.

Of course, it comes in different colours, so if you feel like you're not quite eye catching enough in boring old black, you can also get it in neon yellow too. The romper, which has biker shorts, long sleeves, a zip neck and a load of buckles all over the show, also has some cut out sections.

The cut outs don't leave a lot at all to the imagination, with bits on the front and thighs, as well as a hefty portion of under boob.

And what buckle up romper is complete without a pair of Matrix inspired shades to finish off the look?

Even though the post has over 100,000 likes, it does seem like Fashion Nova's Instagram followers are somewhat confused with the outfit, with many posting questions relating to where and when they would get the opportunity to wear it.

The Instagram post has racked up thousands of likes.

One person wrote: "Do girls actually wear this? If so, to what occasion? Also, why?"

Another posted: "I'm like WTF that's embarrassing/unless it's Halloween or a theme party."

Someone else joked about wearing it to their gran's party, writing: "ACCEPT ME FOR ME GRANDMA".

Someone else said it's the perfect outfit to wear to their ex's funeral. Can't beat a dark sense of humour and I'm inclined to agree.

I personally feel like it won't be the last we see of this outfit - especially if you're going to any festivals over the summer.

Although I do think you'd have to be brave to wear the outfit, it seems we have a lot of confident ladies out there - with each size currently sold out.

That can't be a bad thing in my book.
