Guy Gets People To Send Mate Drinks On The Wetherspoons App, Chaos Ensues

Let's be honest, as much as having the option of table service in Spoons is nice, it still feels a bit wrong to actually sit there and use it.

Not having to move while you're continually served pint after pint has its merits, granted, but at the end of the day I can't help but think that we're not in fucking France, mate: it's a pub, so get yourself to the bar and stop making the staff look more miserable than they already do

That said, one LAD did find an extra advantage to the Wetherspoon's 'Order & Pay' table service app yesterday. Well, sort of.

Twitter user Rory Meep posted a picture of his friend Nick on the social media site, along with the table number of the Spoons they were in.

He wrote: "This is Nick, and it's his birthday. We're at the Bankers Draft spoons in Sheffield, table 67, be generous and send him a Bev on the app xxx"

And although the pair did get sent a few items, as you can see their plan to sink a few free bevvies didn't quite work out as they had hoped.

Although, to be fair, they did at least get sent a Jägerbomb or two:
