Racism doesn't always show itself in obvious ways. It can be also be shown in more subtle but equally harmful ways.
That's why it's fantastic to hear about this guy's story of shutting down a racist passenger while he waited for his flight at the airport.
While standing in line for his journey at Ronald Reagan Washington Airport, Emmit Eclass Walker was approached by a woman who refused to believe he was a first class passenger, presumably due to the colour of his skin.
Describing himself as "just a n***a with money", Eclass Walker then took a selfie shaming the woman and shared the exchange on Facebook in a post which has now gone viral. Good on you.
Eclass Walker captioned the photo with 'this lady is funny lmao' and then outlined the exchange he claimed took place.
"Her: excuse me i believe you may be in the wrong place you need to let us thru. This line is for priority boarding," his account read.
"Me: priority meaning first class correct?
"Her: Yes...now excuse me they will call y'all after we board
"Me: *shove first class priority boarding pass in her face* you can relax ma'am I'm in the right spot, been here longer, so you can board after me
"Her: *still won't let It go* he must be military or something, but we paid for our seats so he still should have to wait
"Me: nope too big to ever be in anybody's military. I'm just a n***a with money :moneybag: ♂️
"Everybody waiting in line: starts to clap lmao :joy:"
According to his Facebook page, Eclass Walker is the vice-president of a recording studio in Washington, DC where he currently lives. You can only admire his success really.
Eclass Walker's story definitely looks to have inspired people, as his original Facebook post has now been shared over 230,000 times.
"She looks like she knew her ass was bout to go viral ... thas why she looked down :joy: #WorldStar !!!!!" one person commented.
"Ayeeeee, she learned Today!!!" another commenter said. "Enjoy your trip friend & happy early birthday!"
To make Eclass Walker even more boss, he looks to have traveled to celebrate his birthday in the Dominican Republic, staying in a villa and having a private chef cook food for him.
It looks like this lady learnt her lesson the hard way.
