A dad says he was left looking like 'Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber' after popping into a barbershop for a quick trim. I'm honestly finding it difficult to disagree with him.
Chris Cook decided he wanted a haircut last Friday, but as his usual salon was busy he paid a visit to Smart Cuts, in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, where he says he asked for a short back and sides and a beard trim, and was charged a tenner.

Instead of that, however, he was left with this do, which he says looks like it was cut using a bowl.
He uploaded a short clip of himself online showing off his new barnet, in which he says: "Right guys, went down Cleckheaton yesterday for my hair cutting.
"I went down to Smart Cuts, cost me a tenner, look at the state of this.

"Give me a little shave on the beard as well, that's why it was a tenner.
"Look at the state of this. Short back and sides and a trim on the top, that's all I asked for.
"Now you can see it there, look at the state of that.

"So, if you want to look like Lloyd off Dumb and Dumber and pay a tenner for it, get yourself down to Smart Cuts, absolutely garbage."
A ringing endorsement.
However, Smart Cuts owner Faz has said the haircut in the video is most definitely not a short back and sides and that any unstyled hair will 'look horrible'. He also said that had Chris complained he would have fixed the cut.
Chris said: "I woke up cranky on the Saturday morning and when I caught sight of myself in the mirror I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

"I had a really long fringe and looked like Lloyd out of Dumb and Dumber.
"I just thought, 'What the hell have they done to my hair? I can't go out looking like this.'
"It looked like a bowl cut. Once my mum stopped laughing at me I said to her, 'You might as well have put a bowl round my head and saved me £10.'"
Fortunately for Chris, his auntie is a hairdresser and she was able to blend the cut for him.

He says that although he didn't intend for the video to go viral, it has since racked up 13,000 views and he keeps being stopped in the street by people saying 'show us your head then, mate'.
Barber Faz is less than impressed with Chris' claims though, saying: "I don't understand why if he did have a problem, why did he walk out like that from the shop?
"It's quite upsetting what's happened, but the thing is he shouldn't have paid us and should have come back. We were there to help him out.
"Either he's messed his own fringe up or whatever just to put us down for some reason. I just don't know.
"He's got it all washed and dried and if you do any haircut like that, the way he has, it's going to look horrible.
"Any combover is going to look like that early in the morning if you don't style it.
"We never do a fringe that short, I don't know what's happened. We're experienced barbers, we have loads of customers. It's not nice putting a small business down.
"I don't recognise the guy so I haven't done the haircut. All the lads are qualified, we don't take trainees on. If he didn't get what he wanted, why didn't he speak then?"
