If you haven't clocked the FaceApp photos doing the rounds at the moment, let me tell you: you are missing out.
First off, we had the age ones. The youthful and radiant among us made themselves look old and decrepit, the old and decrepit among us made themselves look all youthful and radiant. And then the beards began. The internet has been at least 90 percent FaceApp today and it's great.
For men who struggle to grow themselves beards though, it's been bittersweet. On the one hand, they get to see what they'd look like with one, and show everyone on social media. On the other, they have to live with the potentially painful truth that their beard-y dreams will never become reality. You can't miss what you never had, guys.
To give the whole thing an extra tinge of sadness, some lads have even had their significant others posting wistful tweets of their fellas with a thick beard.
What can be said though, is that the internet is not a safe place today - nobody really knows what is real and what isn't anymore.
Fears are also growing that men may be cat-fishing women all over the world with their facial hair, with girls taking to social media to warn each other to be on high alert.
Facial hair or not, it's what's on the inside that counts though, fellas - am I right or am I wrong?
