When you think about property advertisements, you probably picture those run of the mill images of the kitchen, dining room and bedrooms to showcase the best on offer.

As technology has advanced considerable, some real estate agencies added in a run-through video to give you a better perspective of things. They've even upped the ante with a few drone videos here and there.

But one real estate company has taken it to a new level by adding property sales with the likes of Dirty Dancing.

LJ Hooker Bankstown employed the services of two dancers to play around 42 Chamberlain Road in Padstow.

People seemed to be more interested in what the dancers were doing rather than what was in the home. Don't get me wrong, the property looks stunning but it's a strange way to get people interested in a house. Then again, any publicity is good publicity.

"The most awkward looking dancing ever!" wrote one person after watching the video on YouTube.

"Actually if you took the people out of the ad entirely it would be a great ad for the property," said another.

But it seems like it's gone down well with other viewers.

"I thought it was a great way to show off the property. Not that I would buy it, but still a great way to market it," said one supporter.

Another added: "People are too sensitive. This video is awesome and will make a funny story for the buyer. Try to relax, haters."

A third commended the team saying: "Absolutely priceless. This is the funniest thing I have seen in years!"

The video has gone absolutely viral, being viewed more than a million times and also being spliced with the Dirty Dancing song 'The Time Of Our Lives' for added effect.

But LJ Hooker has released a statement, saying: "We understand that our recent video circulated on social media promoting one of our listings may have been taken out of context by some and for this we apologise.

"We have removed the video from our digital and social media channels."

According to news.com.au, the owner of the property really likes the video and the agent had received several calls after the video was uploaded to the internet.

Apparently this was the tamer version and they had a raunchier one ready to go but switched it at the last minute over concerns people would have been freaked out.

Now everyone needs to see that video.
