It's well known that men will usually do the bare minimum, just to get by.
At school when we're told a C is a pass, we'll study for a C, and that's that. If there's corners to be cut, they'll be cut.
The same goes with household chores, shopping and so on. We don't enjoy it, so we'll do as little of it as possible and hope that it looks like effort has gone into it.

Because of this, it's very common for partners to leave fairly patronising notes in attempt to get a job done properly. Era Golwalkar, however, takes the piss.
She left her fella, Gaurav, a shopping list, which seems fair, but then included a number of illustrations and bullet points to really insult his intelligence.
In fairness, it was to make sure Gaurav didn't buy the wrong stuff, again, but still.

She tweeted a picture of the list, writing: "This is the task I gave to my hubby last weekend!
"Even U [sic] guys shud [sic] follow this list for happy customers."
For onions, potatoes, michi peppers and palak, Era included drawings of the right and wrong things to buy, while adding that onions are 'round shaped'.
"When I first sent him to purchase vegetables, it was an epic fail and an argument ensued between us. The second time was no better. Nor the third," Era told the BBC.
When they got married the pair decided to divide their chores fairly, with Gaurav being left with the shopping. Era told BBC that when he consistently got the wrong stuff they'd end up having a weekly argument, which would subsequently put a strain on their relationship.

The detailed list has worked wonders apparently, as Era says her husband is making less and less mistakes.
She followed up her original post after many people responded to it, explaining why she was particular.
"The response has overwhelmed me. Truly humbled by the attention to be honest," Era added.
