Most of us know to look past the glossy, too-good-to-true images we see plastered across social media - however, it's always good to get a handy reminder, isn't it?
And so to blogger Knee Deep in Life, also known as Laura, who has taken to Instagram to share her fun swipe at a model in an eye-watering pair of bikini bottoms.
So, here's the original:
And here's Laura's version:
Spot on, if you ask me. The facial expression is a particular highlight.

But while she did manage to recreate the look on the cheap, the briefs were so brief, Laura has had to cover her modesty with some placed emojis.
In the caption, she wrote: "GOOGLE GOALS... FANNY FLOSSING.
"When everyone begs you to buy it, review it and you're like FUCK NO! It's £50 and it's January. I can make that shit work with a superman belt and a kids t-shirt.
"Ain't no one got any business seeing the other side of that emoji.

"It's like a hairy angry Venus fly trap that smells a bit like piss and old farts.
"P.S. Yes, I'm wearing a belt. It's just hidden under all my fabulous skin..."
The funny comparison shot has been liked over 26,000 times on Facebook and has attracted almost 20,000 comments from people praising Laura for her sense of humour.
One wrote: "Even dying of flu and feeling like shite this had me creasing. Keep on doing you because you are fantastic."

While a second added: "So so funny. And not even embarrassing. Just REAL LIFE for a real woman because let's be honest flaps tape must be a new era compared to the 2004 tit tape.....you actually are so hilarious and write what the rest of us hard working mum's are thinking. We are just not brave enough to say."
A third wrote: "Having seen the original post and comments I am now just peeing my pants with laughter... ain't no way they gonna hold my Tena Lady in place."
This isn't the first time she's taken the piss out of unrealistic standards set by celebrities - here she is recreating Ariana Grande posing on a chair:
And here she is...doing...this?

Keep up the good work, Laura.
