Well, here we go again, you bunch of absolute monsters.

Yet another piece of horrendous footage of a private medical procedure has emerged and once again people on the internet are lapping it up like the pus-swilling dogs that they are.

Not content with the repulsive shenanigans of Dr Pimple Popper alone, tribute acts are POPPING up all around the place, and this one is absolutely horrific.

The three minute (yes, three minutes) clip shows a huge abscess being drained on some poor woman's back. During the three minutes we witness the full range of the professional boil buster's arsenal.

The lucky patient in this situation is Dena Llynette Brizzi, and she spoke about how she regularly gets abscesses, but not usually this large.

Once it is popped it squirts across the room and - well, Holy God. Just watch it.

Brizzi, who is 46 years old, said: "I get abscesses every three months, and I started getting them about 10 years ago.

"The video shows the worst and biggest one I've ever had - I didn't believe it when they told me it had squirted across the room and the doctor had to move out of the way.

"They wanted to hospitalise me for that one due to the size, because people can die from letting them go untreated or popping them themselves.

"Every time I get one it needs to be popped and after it is they do go away and because the pressure is released it feels better."

This ground-breaking piece of cinema was captured in Pomona, California, by the good people of the Pomona Valley Hospital Emergency Room.

It seems to be hurting the patient quite a bit, but she says that once it's all done she feels a lot better - so I guess that's a good thing at least.

An abscess is a mass that forms on the body that is filled with pus or 'debris' - exactly what debris I neither know, nor care to know - if left untreated they can infect the bloodstream and the person can become even more sick.

Doctors are at pains to ask that if you have an abscess that you don't try to treat it yourself.

DIY abscess draining is a sure-fire way to get yourself infected can be really dangerous.

The most common place to get an abscess is under your armpit or around a hair follicle and they are traditionally caused either oils underneath the skin or germs that get into hair follicles or pores.

If you'll excuse me, I'm going for a long shower.
