That absolutely unit of a body builder known as the Iranian Hulk has been challenged in his debut MMA fight - by another Hulk.

Brazilian Romario Dos Santos Alves has muscled in on the Iranian Hulk's first appearance as a fighter, quite boldly stating on Instagram that he's going to 'tear his head off'. Very brave.

Romario, who is from Caldas Novas just south of the capital Brasilia, really plays up to his namesake and likes to cover himself in green paint and wear ripped shorts in an effort to truly resemble the Marvel superhero.

Sajad Gharibi, the 27-year-old Iranian Hulk announced to his Instagram followers that he was preparing to make the move to mixed martial arts from weightlifting.

He confirmed he would be fighting a Brazilian in his first outing, but he didn't name him.

"I'm finally accepting my first professional fight from a Brazilian fighter before 2020," Gharibi wrote on Instagram. "I'm ready for the challenge."

The Brazilian Hulk likes to paint himself green.

Gharibi is also known as the 'Persian Hercules' and stands at 6'2" tall, weighing in at a whopping 385 pounds.

Romario, 29, has huge 62cm biceps but is relatively small, when compared with the Iranian hulk. He's 5ft 8in tall, and weighs 229lbs.

And Romario isn't the only one to fancy his chances against Sajad - MMA star Brian Ortega has said he'd give it a go.

Big, massive unit.

Ortega recently spoke to TMZ about what his game-plan would be.

"I would just gas him out, piss him off," Ortega said.

"Of course, you're gonna see me just get mauled up like a damn little chihuahua in the beginning.

"But just when I ride that wave out, it's a done deal man. He'll gas out and he'll be mine."

Sounds like fighting talk to me.

Given the fact he's absolutely massive, there have reportedly been offers flooding in for Sajad, with the WWE rumoured to be showing interest.

Posting on Instagram, he said: "There has been a lot of talk and rumours about WWE and in particular my participation to join the company but all I have to say is at this time if there will be any collaboration between myself and 'Triple H' then I'll let you guys knows about it afterwards and hopefully I'll decide and make my final decision by the end of autumn!"
