Man Covered In Tattoos Had Genitals Removed As They 'Spoiled' His Body Art

When it coems to tattoos, you'll probably think you've seen it all - from the woman who had 'Chicken Queen' tattooed on her in tribute to KFC, to the many not-quite-prophetic 'England to win the World Cup' ones currently knocking about.

But Adam Curlykale took things to extreme lengths when he decided he would have his genitals removed because they spoiled the view of his body art...

The 32-year-old from Kaliningrad in Russia, spent the last 12 years tattooing his body with black ink - including his eyeballs - after he was diagnosed with cancer.

But when he survived the disease, he decided to start worrying about other things - like how much his tats interfered with the aesthetic enjoyment of his heavily-shaded skin. Fair play.

So, in a bid to correct this, Adam paid to have his testicles, penis and even his nipples removed, and was good enough to share pictures with his fans on social media. Don't say we never give you anything.

Local media reported that he had to travel to Jardines Hospital in Guadalajara in Mexico to have the operation to remove his nipples and private parts.

Curlykale became famous in 2017 after taking part in the TV show Second Face in Poland where he explained that he wanted his tattoos to cover the blemishes that were left behind by the cancer.

While in recovery, he had been left with a weakened immune system and became depressed as a result, not helped by the fact that his skin looked sickly and pale.

When doctors diagnosed him with albinism, he had started adding tattoos, and discovered a passion for the art once he saw the results.

He said: "I always knew that I was different from the rest of society.

"My favourite colour for example has always have been grey, in different tones, and that's why my current skin colour is graphite."

Sounds like the kitchen tiles I've just ordered, but if it makes you feel better, you crack on, Adam.

With regards to the small section of skin still without tattoos, he said he is still in the planning process.

He added: "I design my tattoos because it's my body. I have a specific vision for myself and I do it step by step.

"Life is so short that I stopped wondering what will happen tomorrow. Life is here and now."

So it's clear he has a great outlook on life. But still, ouch.
