A 16-year-old nicknamed 'The Hulk' has taken on Kirill Tereshin, 21 - the man who controversially injected his arms with synthol oil in a bid to achieve Popeye-like arms.

In fact, not only did The Hulk (whose real name is Askhab Tamaev) square up to the top-heavy former soldier who's five years his senior, he also beat him.

Tamaev hails from south-western Russia's Chechen Republic, while Tereshin is from Pyatigorsk, a city in Russia's Stavrolol Krai region, which is also in the country's south west.

The two had become embroiled in an online feud, but the viral spat escalated into an IRL one when Tamaev travelled over to Pyatigorsk to meet up the Tereshin to work things out man-to-man, face-to-face. Or, in the case of Tamaev, neck-to-neck.

Tamaev came out on top, proving that sometimes the au naturel approach is more powerful - as his naturally developed muscles overpowered Tereshin's huge but fake biceps.

An eyewitness filmed the action as it unfurled on a smartphone, and during the footage the 16-year-old slams Tereshin to the ground, forcing him to apologise.

At that point, Tamaev then turns to the camera and says: "As-salamu alaykum. I came to Pyatigorsk and found Kirill. Are you going to film such videos in future?"

Tereshin replied: "I apologise for the video I filmed. I just wanted to see you in real life and check your neck. I realise it is mighty. No I am not going to film such videos anymore."

Tereshin had challenged Tamaev to a fight after the teenager criticised him for his attention-seeking antics - which have included, along with those mammoth biceps, dying his hair, wearing makeup and speaking out about having breast implants.

The video ends with the Tamaev accepting the apology with the words: "Ok, that's it, then."

Tamaev had previously said in a social media video that Tereshin's synthol-injecting was due to 'low self-esteem', claiming: "Kirill is using synthol because of the lack of relatives' support and low self-esteem because he simply wanted to get some PR.

"Kirill, if you are watching this video, stop doing synthol, keep on working out and eat sport nutrition."

Tereshin didn't take to the message too kindly, challenging the teen to a fight, saying: "I am not afraid of you, I am a Bogatyr (knight)."

While Tamaev has earned his superhero nickname from pumping iron - developing 48cm (19in) bulging biceps and a 54cm (21in) neck, Tereshin has openly admitted that his massive arms are purely down to injecting himself with synthol oil.

However, doctors have said to him that this is incredibly dangerous (as well as not helping how much he can actually lift) as the concoction - a cocktail of lidocaine, alcohol, and olive oil known as 'synthol' - can cause strokes, embolisms, and nerve damageFeatured Image Credit: CEN
