A woman is on a 'succeed or die trying' mission to have the world's biggest hips.

Bobbi-Jo Westley lives in York, Pennsylvania with her husband, and her hips currently measure 95 inches. However, the world record is four inches bigger and held by LA-based Mikel Ruffinelli. Bobbi-Jo is not happy about this and is planning to smash the record by eating as much as possible.

The 42-year-old has a large fanbase, with loads of fans from across the globe buying her photos.

Some people even pay for 'crushing' sessions. If you're not familiar with the term, it's a kind of BDSM kink where (mainly) men pay for (mainly) women to sit on them and squash them.

She said: "My hips are what makes me unique. It's what makes me 'me'.

"When I realised that there were men out there who like my shape, I was kind of surprised.

"I get all kinds of presents and messages from my fans, some of them ask 'will you marry me?' which is kind of hard because I'm already married."

Standing at 5ft 2in, Bobbi-Jo's hip size is even more impressive. She does have a lot of fans, but there's also a large amount of hate.

She explained: "When I get people on social media who say I am fat, I really don't react to it. Because I am fat."

Bobbi-Jo is painfully aware of the health implications regarding her weight, and now she has become housebound and gets out of breath just by walking across the room.

So how much does she weigh exactly?

She said: "The last time I went to a doctor I weighed 542lbs [over 38 stone].

"And having big hips is kind of difficult. When I go up or down stairs, or through doors, I have to turn sideways."

Bobbi-Jo says that her weight gain is a result of an underactive thyroid, a condition she was diagnosed with six years ago.

However, nutritionist Nadia Sharifi, the owner of MyTrimLine Weight Loss and Wellness Centres, doesn't believe that after visiting Bobbi-Jo at home.

Sharifi says Bobbi-Jo's current lifestyle means she is a 'ticking time bomb' and that she needs to start eating healthily or she could face an early death.

The nutritionist said: "It's literally a life or death choice at this point.

"Hormones, or thyroid issues, or blood type or ancestry might play a little part, but ultimately it's down to what we put into our mouth.

"When we're talking about her veins, she can have a block very easily. She is really, truly a ticking time bomb.

"She is definitely in a place where it is very hard for the people to be - it's not that she needs to lose 50 pounds, she needs to lose over 200 pounds."

Despite this, Bobbi-Jo still has her eyes on the prize and insists that she wants to have the biggest hips.

She said: "I understand that I'm putting myself at risk by trying to get the world's biggest hips. I am worried about my health sometimes because of my size - I know that it is not healthy.

"My doctor asked me if I had ever considered a gastric bypass and I do have a fear of dying. But it's just something that I have to do and I take it one day at a time.

"I want to be remembered for something, and I think having the world's biggest hips is what I was meant to be remembered for."
