Do you ever find yourself having an almighty rant about the fact there are Easter eggs on the shelves in January, advent calendars in August and everything in between (oh capitalism, how we love you). If you do, you're going to love this.

With 13 weeks left until Christmas, a whole TV channel is being launched here in the UK dedicated to festive films. The office scrooge definitely needs to turn away now - you're not going to like this, mate.

Because as of today, the channel - known as 'True Christmas' - will be available on Freeview (62), Sky (185) an Virgin (424).

You might be thinking what the hell is a Christmas TV channel coming out for? Given that it's September, we haven't even prepped for Halloween and well, Christmas starts in December... and you'd be absolutely bloody right.

But the powers that be have dubbed it a great idea, meaning the channel will be airing back to back Christmas films right up until the beginning of January. How are there that many Christmas films, we hear you ask? We haven't got a clue.

Whether you love black and white films or animations, then True Christmas will fulfil all your needs by broadcasting a mixture of classic and newer movies seven days a week. Again, how are there that many festive films?!

True Christmas is part of True Movies' annual rework, which aims to spread Christmas joy and cheer to homes across the country. And to get things going, the festive channel has already revealed some of the films that will be airing:

Borrowed Hearts - 1997:

Atlantis Films CTV

Christmas is fast approaching, and a struggling single mum agrees that she will pose as family for her boss along with her daughter for a fee. Sounds brilliantly ludicrous.

This flick stars Roma Downey, Eric McCormack, and Shawn Thompson.

Single Santa Seeks Mrs Claus - 2004:

Hallmark Entertainment

Santa is retiring, meaning his son, Nick, needs to find a wife, ASAP. He's handed a Christmas miracle, when destiny finds him his one true love. D'awwww.

Steve Guttenberg, Crystal Bernard, and Dominic Scott Kay all appear in the festive film.

All I Want For Christmas - 2013:

Daro Film Distribution

A woman crosses paths with Santa's helper, St Nick, who offers her the chance of a Christmas wish. Magical stuff, eh?

Starring Melissa Sagemiller, Brad Rowe, and Tom Arnold

Beverly Hills Christmas - 2015:

Five Arts Films

A spoilt and rich teen finds true value in acts of kindness rather than materialistic objects all thanks to a guardian angel. Just in time for us to write up a Christmas list asking for games consoles, clothes and money! Woohoo!

Cast members include Ravin Spangler, Donna Spangler, and Brandon Tyler Russell.

Well, nothing says Christmas like a good (or disastrous) September reminder. Roll on January when we get get all our Easter chocolate.
