One of the world's largest water slides has opened up to thrill-seekers at Benidorm's water park Aqualandia - it's called the Cyclon and it looks immense.

The slide features a huge vortex tunnel, is the equivalent to a 12-storey building (great for the glutes) and stimulates the feeling of zero gravity. Here is a taster of what's to come:

It's a four-person slide as well so you don't have to enjoy it on your lonesome - unless you're shoved with three random strangers which is never ideal.

According to The Sun, the ride is 2.7m (eight foot) wide, the large funnel opens out into a width of 20m (65 feet) with an incline of 45 degrees.

If you take the plunge you could be travelling at speeds of up to 37 miles per hour (60km/h) with many twists and turns before the almighty plummet to end the ride.

There are claims that it is the largest water slide in the world but Cyclon isn't the tallest or longest - because you can't have everything.

The Guinness World Records states that the longest is at Action Park in New Jersey which measures at 601m (1,975ft) in length. The tallest is situated in Brazilian waterpark, Aldeia das Águas Park Resort and it's called the Kilimanjaro which is rather apt.

Going back to Aqualandia, it is home to another attraction called the Verti-Go which consists of two sets of slides standing at 28 and 33 metres high.

The 33 metre slide is the highest in Europe and the tallest slide-capsule in the world. Good going for Benidorm.

Depending on body mass speeds of more than 62mph (100 km/h) can be achieved
