YouTuber Logan Paul has been called all sorts of names since the start of the year and you'd think after his self-imposed exile from the social media site, he'd have worked out what you shouldn't include in your vlogs.

Clearly not.

His latest video, where he responded to fellow YouTuber KSI's call-out to fight either him or his brother Jake, also includes a moment where he thought it was appropriate to send thousands of electrical volts through a dead animal.

WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING CONTENT

"No rat comes into my house without getting tased!" the 22-year-old shouts before opening fire on two dead animals.

That section quickly drew criticism from viewers but it's now got the attention of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

Writing on Twitter, PETA said: "How many chances does @LoganPaul get? PETA finds it repulsive that this internet personality with millions of impressionable young followers has not learned the lesson that there is sadness, not humour, in the death of others.

"This sort of content has no place on @YouTube or anywhere else, as it could desensitize young people to cruelty to animals, so PETA is calling on the platform to remove it."

The animal rights and welfare group also pointed out another part of the vid where Paul pulls a fish out of the water and attempts to give it CPR.

PETA says Logan's recent actions shows he clearly hasn't learned from his mistake earlier this year where he posted a video of himself mocking the body of a suicide victim.

Despite going on a 'soul-searching journey', Paul came back to his YouTube channel and produced this latest clip.

PETA continued: "Shooting an animal's dead body with a Taser isn't just tacky or weird-it's downright shameful. By posting this on YouTube, Paul could cause millions of his impressionable young followers to become desensitized to cruelty to animals.

"Repeatedly, Paul has shown a serious lack of respect for all animals, both human and nonhuman. Destroying and mocking the bodies of dead animals for shocking video content is never OK.

"If you aren't already feeling compassion for these rats, just imagine a person shooting a Taser at a deceased dog or cat. All animals deserve respect."

They've also called on people not to support Logan or anyone else who glorifies animal abuse.
