Ant McPartlin Trolls Best Mate Dec On His Birthday With Hilarious Picture Of Him Posing With Dress

Most of us wish our best mates a happy birthday by giving them a loving punch in the arm and, if they're lucky, a pint. But Ant McPartlin has expertly trolled his, sharing a hilarious photo of Dec posing with a red and black Spanish flamenco dress.

Ant captioned the photo of the pint-sized presenter: "Happy birthday from the big one to the little one!"

Many fans also commented on the picture to wish Dec a particularly happy birthday, as it is his first one as a dad - having welcomed baby Isla into the world at the beginning of the month.

One wrote: "Happy birthday Dec, this is a special one though first as a daddy, have a fantastic day."

Someone else added: "Happy bday dec, omg and your 1st as a daddy. Hope you have an amazing day."

Others also said it was good to hear from Ant, with one writing: "Welcome back to social media Ant good to hear from you be strong big man."

Another commented: "Happy birthday Dec great picture good to have u back ant lol to u all have a great day."

While Ant has resurfaced on social media recently, it seems like it may be some time before he's back on our screens.

Last month, ITV confirmed that Ant would be replaced by Holly Willoughby for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

Dec said: "I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year.

"She was at the top of my list and I'm thrilled she said yes. It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers.

"I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials."

Ant also told The Sun that he has also ruled himself out of next year's series of Saturday Night Takeaway because pre-production for that would be kicking off soon.

He said: "My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off.

"I'd like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year."

While we're all looking forward to seeing the double act back together eventually, in the meantime we just hope Dec has a great birthday.
