Whether you loved her or hated her in Ocean's 8, one thing is true, Rihanna has taken to the silver screen like a fish to water.

Now there's news there could be more opportunity to see her grace the films, with a possible upcoming project working with Donald Glover.

The pair were spotted in Cuba and speculation says they could be working on a film together.

While details are scattered, at the moment, Cuban magazine 'Vistar' report that the top secret project, starring Rihanna and the Childish Gambino star, is reportedly titled 'Guava Island'.

Other reports say the film could be in store to have a star-studded cast, with British actors Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie also on board.

Other fans have speculated that the pair could be working on a music video together, as the project is, reportedly, being directed by Hiro Murai - Murai and Donald Glover collaborated on his internet-sensation music video, 'This Is America', earlier this year.

Fans are taking to Twitter to voice their own theories.

On person tweeted: "Theory: so we all know @donaldglover is performing at the diamond ball. What if Rihanna debuts her lead single at the DB and it's featuring childish gambino. This would mean that this is the set for the music video."

Along with captivating fans with the possible project news, Rihanna has been spotted taking time off her, alleged, filming, to explore the Island - and was even spotted out purchasing Cuban cigars, which is leading fans to wonder who they're for?

Rihanna's recent film, Ocean's 8, where she took on the role of Nina Ball, the talented hacker, received mixed reviews as the all-women, all-star, cast took on the spin off to the Ocean's franchise.

This isn't the first time the 'Work' and 'Umbrella' singer has been involved in movie magic - in 2012 she starred in the science fiction film 'Battleship' and, last year, she took a role alongside the British model, Cara Delevigne, in the 3D space opera 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets'.

Whether it's for a film or music video, fans are sure to be excited to see Rihanna on screen again.
