Cardi B has officially called off her divorce from Offset, having withdrawn her divorce petition.

According to online court records reviewed by the Los Angeles Times, Cardi - whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar - withdrew the divorce petition she filed in Georgia's Fulton County Superior Court back in September.

A court hearing had been scheduled for Wednesday, but the case status is now closed.

However, as Cardi asked the court to dismiss the case without prejudice, she reserves the right to file for divorce again at a later date, according to the LA Times.

Cardi, 28, had filed for divorce after nearly three years of marriage, saying in September that the two were separated.

But the following month it turned out things were back on with the couple, with Cardi revealing they had reconciled.

Speaking in an Instagram Live video, she told fans: "I just be starting to miss him. It's hard not to talk to your best friend. It's really hard not to talk to your best friend. And it's really hard to have no d***."

She continued: "We're some really typical two young motherf***ers, got married early... that's what we are. We're not no different than y'all f***in' dysfunctional a** relationships. We're the same way. We're just more public."

Some sceptics had accused Cardi of using the breakup as a publicity stunt, but she assured fans that is absolutely not the case, adding: "I don't do stunts. I don't need stunts and I don't need any stunts that comes to family to sell anything.

"I just got tired of arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye. When you feel like it's not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I'd rather just be, you know what I'm saying? Like, I'm tired of people.

"I want to say thank you to everybody they've been showing me love. I'm great. I'm okay. I'm not down. I'm not devastated. I'm not hurt."

Cardi followed this up with another series of Instagram videos a couple of weeks ago, this time hitting back at the criticism she'd received from followers.

In one clip she said: "All of y'all can suck my d***- each and every one. All. A. L. L."

She then slammed people for getting involved in her personal life and harassing her friends and husband.

In a follow up clip, the 28-year-old said: "I'm so tired of people saying I've got to continuously explain myself. I didn't put my divorce out there, a f***ing court clerk put it out there and because people are making rumours up, 'Oh, this guy has a girl pregnant', I got to address it."
